The Computer Science course is designed to give you a secure understanding of how computers work and to further develop your problem-solving skills. Whilst studying this course you will develop your ability to think logically, abstractly and procedurally. You will further your understanding of how computers affect society and you will start to gain an understanding of how computers use Boolean logic.

This course links closely with Mathematics so students should have robust Mathematical skills or be studying A-Level Mathematics.





Qualification: OCR A Level

Entry requirements: Red pathway

Assessment: Coursework and final examinations

Progression route: University, apprenticeship or employment in computer science, IT or related industries.
